Each year an average of 6 Americans accompany Dr. Mathai to India for a short-term mission trip. Over 300 Americans have served in India as short-term missionaries through IEM. Doctors, dentists, pastors, evangelists, and lay people have allowed God to use their talents to meet the varied needs of India 's people.
