IEM Bible Correspondence Courses started in 1972 with the help of Operation Mobilization. They distribute millions of tracts all over India, and I made an arrangement with their director, George Verwer, that IEM would do the follow-up work. We have received up to 100 letters daily from people responding to receive the Bible correspondence course. In the past, 15 to 20 thousand people a year have completed the study course on the Gospel of John, which we provide to them in their own language.
Recently, due to anti-Christian movement, distribution of literature has been prohibited in many places, so now we do not reach as many people as before. However, we still need to print the Gospel tracts and buy Bibles for new converts who are poor and needy. Many people cannot travel to our Reading Rooms, so Bible Correspondence Courses were developed in the native languages to reach these people.
Each year we have thousands of new believers who come to know the Lord through our crusades, open air preaching, and reading rooms. Our desire is to help these new believers in their faith. I.E.M. provides a no-cost Bible correspondence course on the Book of John.
The India Evangelical Mission Bible study is a comprehensive study that allows each new believer to grow in their love for the Lord. Upon completion of the Bible correspondence course we provide a free Bible.
